This Memorial Day....

Thank a soldier for the everyday freedom we here at home get to enjoy. It's no lie when people call them heroes, no exaggeration.
So thank you Grandpapa M., Grandpa K., Cousin Monte, my great-uncles, both my neighbors, new recruit Brian, from my church, and recently deployed in Iraq, all the army chaplains, and all those have served and those continuing to serve.
 Freedom doesn't come free.

  2. Hey girl!

About your comment. My violin was made in China, and then shipped to California, and then here to MN, where I live. It is Scott Cao brand...I have only used Scott Cao violins and I LOVE them. (:

Ssh, don't tell anyone, but I do still use tapes. I just haven't found it in my heart to put them on yet. It breaks my heart to use them. I can play just fine without them, but my teacher firmly believes in the power of the tapes. I'll get them off permanently in a few months - hopefully by the end of the summer! Wouldn't that be exciting! (:

My fav genre is classical, all the way, though I've been searching for the violin parts in Skillet music - the band uses quite a lot of violin and I wish I could play it, but I can't find any sheet music. I use Suzuki. What book are you in? I am just finishing book 3. I know, I know. Playing for three years, and I'm just in book 3! In my defense, my teacher is SUPER slow. Which can be nice but annoying. I love my teacher though, haha. (:

Nine thousand dollars! WOW! Must be awesome. I have always wanted to play one of those electric violins...how fun would that be?!

Have you learned vibrato yet? It is SOOOO much fun. At first, it was really difficult for me to use it, but now it's super easy. I love vibrato. (:

    Love,
    Bekah
