A Thanksgiving prayer request

Last night my Grandpa passed away. It did not come as a surprise: he's been fading ever since Grandmum went ahead in May. Now together they will celebrate the true Thanksgiving feast with the Giver Himself. And that make me happy.
But prayers for those of us still waiting behind would be much appreciated.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone
Be truly thankful for your family this year!

  1. Oh Gwyn. I'm so sorry for your family, and yet I'm happy that your grandparents are now reunited in Heaven.
My grandma went to be with the Lord last winter, so I know exactly how you feel. Maybe right now, they're enjoying a Thanksgiving together. (:

  3. I'm sure it must be a relief for your grandfather. I could not imagine losing my husband and if he did go before me I probably would want to go soon after. It must be miserable to be without the one you love after having been together so long. I'm glad he is at peace now.

My prayers are with you and your family. Celebrate happy memories of your grandparents on Thanksgiving. Sorry for your loss.

  5. Oh Gwyn, I'm so sorry to hear that. From personal experience I know that even when it's best for your loved ones to go it's still hard for those left behind. Defintely praying for you.
