just when we dared hope the green nubbins of grass were here to stay, the mother of all snowstorms buried the land in nearly two feet of misery. While the moisture was much appreciated, being trapped at home for three days was not. Still, the sun did come out a little, once and a while, and gave Baby just enough time for a sunbath.
I tied my apron strings and went on what can only be described as a homemaker rampage. I baked breads and began my sojourn to better living with natural homemade cleaners & things. I'm still very new to all that, but excited and overly ambitious. This summer (when I have another job = money) I would really like to start making further apothecary advancements. But for now, I am quite pleased with my first batch of lemon everything cleaner.
I, too, enjoy the occasional homemaker rampage. :) It is very good for the soul I think. I love making all natural house cleaning products too. Anything that is made with natural ingredients intrigues me, and they always smell soooo good, besides the fact that they are way better for you. I made a rosemary hairspray the other day with peppermint essential oil. Have been enjoying it immensely!
